Description

Chant is a 3yr old show quality golden dun filly, by the fantastic stock getter and champion, Escley Tumble, making her half sister to countless prizewinning foals. Many of her siblings have been exported over seas such as Menai Nightshade (by Escley Tumble) now in America and Pontgam Supernatural (now in the Netherlands). Her breeding, type and (of course) colour make her an ideal opportunity for someone wanting a lovely young filly as broodmare or of course, in time, as a very attractive ridden pony. Many of her siblings are already successful under saddle and have proved to be good children`s ponies and bringing the rosettes home in various performance and ridden classes. Although we have not done much with her Chant has proved to be a friendly pony that would excel in a family home - she is easy to bath, good with blacksmith, to load and travel and happily stood quietly in the lorry all day when shown.

She has been covered by our exceptional young colt and multiple champion Waxwing Dick Turpin and will be due in late March 2009. Dick Turpin is bred in the purple by undoubtably one of the best stud`s in the UK and is by the fantastic Supreme Champion stallion Heniarth Yarra Glen and out of a mare by the renowned stockgetter Waxwing Hurricane. Yarra Glen has stock in South Africa as well as throughout Europe having stood at stud in Sweden when he was younger. Dick Turpin features back to back champions in his pedigree including Supreme Champion Heniarth Yarra Glen, RWAS champion Nerwyn Cadno, RWAS reserve female champion Sunwillow Yasmin, RWAS Champion Sunwillow Quest, RWAS winner and reserve male champion Pendock Legend, RWAS winner Coed Coch Lili, Coed Coch Barrog, Cantref Glory, Roseisle PandyTudyr, RWAS winner and champion Waxwing Hurricance.

This beautiful filly is very reluctantly offered for sale as I am retaining this years filly foal out of my foundation broodmare as well as another homebred filly and just do not have the space to justify keeping her as well. Although we are based in Scotland please do not be put off as transport is easily organised at a reasonable price and I may be available to help arrange even cheaper transport as I have friends travelling to the Royal Welsh (end of July) and to Fayre Oaks (September).
