Description

Hewi is a wonderfully bred stallion, his sire being the late Derwen Royal Express and his dam being from the Broughton Stud with a strong line of Llanarth blood. He has a beautiful head and eye, loads of bone and a super temperament. He runs with his mares and foals and has his first crop of foals on the ground this year at Kaybrook Stud where he was leased last season. They are a lovely bunch of foals, plenty of colour and white socks and they have also loads of bone. Hewi stands over 15 hands now and would be an ideal cross with smaller mares or thoroughbred mares. Bookings being taken for 2009 as Hewi is starting under saddle and will not be available all the time please ring for details.

Progeny Information

Hewi was leased to Kaybrook Stud last year and has produced three pure bred section d foals and a wonderful part bred foal. Picture 4 filly foal. These can be seen on www.Kaybrookcobs.co.uk. He has sired for them a big strong bay colt with four whites which is being retained by them for future stud stallion. Picture 5. Hewi has covered our own mares this year.
